 At Mets Care Services we aim to make your travel journey on public transport as easy and comfortable as possible so you enjoy your time out in the community. Catching public transports, from home, work, appointments can be challenging sometimes, that is why METS Care Services offer a community transport service, to assist you with commuting and travel, enabling participants to build capacity to travel independently. Mets Care have a wheel-chair accessible van to support our participants who are unable to access public transport, we are able to drive you to your appointments or other places and drive you back.

Mets Care staff are able to increase participant’s independence through public transport training by helping you to learn to use public transport routes, bus/train timetables, buying and recharging an OPAL card, as well as how to use it.

We provide a convenient transport service, that can be scheduled in advance, that can take you to:

• Medical appointments
• Work
• Visit family/friends
• Local shopping centre
• Anywhere else in your community
