High Intensity Daily Personal activities
Mets Care services can offer a variety of support services for participant’s whose condition may require a HIGH level of expertise and experience of a specialised worker. The goal of providing this support is to enable participants to live as independently and autonomously as possible. The level of assistance you need will be identified in your NDIS plan.
Examples of where a higher level of personal assistance is required includes:
- Complex bowel care
- Day to day management of medications
- Feeding and management
- Tracheostomy management
- Urinary catheter management
- Challenging behaviour that requires frequent intensive positive behaviour to manage appropriately.
- Subcutaneous injections
- Diabetes management
- Complex wound management
- Any other high intensity supports
